Braided Spectra is very strong line recommended for bowfishing. It is less likely to cut on tough scales or underwater debris and is salt water resistant. AMS recommends keeping your bottle full.

This Spectra brand braid works great in Retriever® reels and is extremely abrasion resistant. It takes a sharp razor blade to cut this line so even the toughest fish scales won’t cut it.
