Learn shooting technique with one of New Zealand's most experienced archers and coaches.

One-on-one coaching is the quickest and most enjoyable way to achieve your goals in the sport and ensure you learn the correct techniques from the start. We only coach one-on-one. It saves you time and money and in just three sessions you will be well on the way to mastering the nine steps of good shooting form.

One 1/2 hour coaching session is $35. 

 'Get Into Archery' - three sessions for only $90.

Our Coaches We keep up to date with the latest information and coaching philosphy through our involvement with top U.S. coach Tim Strickland:

Tim Strickland has excelled as a professional archer with several national and international titles. He has coached multiple top-ranked professionals on the US 3-D circuit, including IBO Triple Crown Champions, IBO World Champions and the ASA Shooter of the Year.

He has worked with private students and members of the United States Olympic Team for the last five Summer Olympics. His students have accounted for several of the medals brought home from these games.

Tim has many roles in the industry and currently hosts his own bowhunting TV show, New Age Outdoors in which he has included stories about his hunting adventures here in New Zealand. 

Tim and his wife Shirley have operated an Archery Training Centre for the past five years. Tim also has responsibility for the IBO Shooters School which has been operating in the USA since December 2002. 

We have brought Tim to New Zealand three times in the last 10 years to conduct seminars and IBO Shooting Schools. Our coaching follows Tim's teaching very closely and we recognise and value his influence in our coaching and shooting today.

Who needs coaching?
People of all ages and skill levels can benefit from coaching. We still get coaching ourselves as we believe it is important to learn good technique and to have your coach observe you shooting to help maintain good form.

Keeping your shooting form on track could well be the difference between success and just another hard luck story around the campfire. As a hunter you owe it to the animals you hunt to be as accurate as you can.
